Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of watchgridpro.life (the "Website") operated by WatchGrid Pro ("we", "us", or "our"), and set out the general framework for engaging our CCTV design, installation, and maintenance services in Singapore. By accessing the Website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

We are an independent business. We are not affiliated with the Singapore Police Force, HDB, Town Councils, MCSTs, or camera manufacturers unless explicitly stated in a written agreement.
2. Website use
You may use the Website for lawful purposes related to learning about and enquiring about our services. You agree not to:
- Attempt unauthorised access to server areas, data directories, or admin functions;
- Submit false, misleading, or malicious content through contact forms;
- Use automated tools to scrape content at a rate that impairs site performance;
- Introduce malware, spam, or harmful code;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when enquiring about services.
Content on the Website is provided for general information. It does not constitute legal advice on surveillance law, employment monitoring, or PDPA compliance — seek appropriate professional advice for your specific situation.
3. Enquiries and quotations
Submitting the contact form or emailing us creates no binding contract. Quotations are valid for the period stated on the proposal document, typically thirty days unless otherwise noted. Prices quoted after site survey reflect equipment, labour, cabling, and configuration specific to your property. We reserve the right to revise quotations if site conditions differ materially from information provided at enquiry stage.
Indicative pricing on the Website (e.g. "from SGD …") is non-binding and excludes unforeseen complications such as asbestos ceilings, restricted riser access, or extensive conduit works discovered during installation.
3a. Site surveys and access
Surveys require safe access to proposed camera locations, riser cupboards, and network rooms. Minors must be accompanied by an adult authorised to grant access. We may photograph installation areas during surveys solely for quotation and design purposes; survey photos are stored with your project file and not used for unrelated marketing without consent.
4. Service agreements
A project begins when you accept a written quotation and pay any agreed deposit. Specific scope, timeline, warranty, and payment terms appear on your quotation and invoice — those documents prevail over general Website content where they differ.
4.1 Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate property information and safe access during agreed appointment windows;
- Obtain MCST, landlord, or employer approvals where required before installation;
- Ensure adequate power and network infrastructure as specified in the proposal;
- Display appropriate surveillance notices and comply with PDPA obligations for camera operation after handover;
- Back up critical configuration or export footage before major renovations affecting the system.
4.2 Our responsibilities
- Perform installation work in a professional manner consistent with industry practice;
- Supply equipment as specified in the accepted quotation unless substitutions are agreed in writing;
- Provide basic user training on playback, export, and mobile app access at handover;
- Honour manufacturer and workmanship warranties stated on your invoice.
5. Payment
Payment terms are stated on each invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, deposits are non-refundable once equipment has been ordered specifically for your project. Late payment may suspend scheduled maintenance or warranty support until accounts are settled.
We accept bank transfer and PayNow for most clients. Cheque payments may be accepted for corporate accounts with prior approval. All amounts are quoted in Singapore dollars unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
6. Warranties and limitations
Equipment carries manufacturer warranty as documented at delivery. Our installation workmanship warranty period is stated on your invoice, typically twelve months from handover for standard installations.
Manufacturer warranties cover defects in materials and manufacturing under their published terms. They do not cover damage from power surges, lightning, vandalism, or unauthorised modifications after handover. We can assist with warranty claims by providing installation documentation but cannot guarantee manufacturer approval timelines.
Workmanship warranty covers installation defects such as loose mounts, incorrect terminations, or configuration errors attributable to our team. It does not cover client-caused damage, normal wear of moving parts, or failures of client-supplied network equipment.
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law:
- We do not guarantee that surveillance will prevent all crime or capture every incident;
- We are not liable for footage loss due to client network outages, power failures, or tampering after handover;
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Website use or service engagement;
- Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
Website text, layout, logos, and original graphics are owned by or licensed to WatchGrid Pro. You may not reproduce substantial portions for commercial use without written permission. Camera layout diagrams prepared for your project may be used for your internal and compliance purposes but not republished as generic templates for third parties.
Open-source components, stock photography, and manufacturer product images remain subject to their respective licences. Trademarks of camera brands mentioned on this Website belong to their owners; reference does not imply endorsement unless explicitly stated in a partnership agreement.
8. Third-party services
Google Maps on the contact page is subject to Google's terms. Camera manufacturer apps and cloud services are subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service interruptions or policy changes.
9. Privacy
Personal data handling is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference into these Terms.
10. Termination
We may refuse or discontinue service to users who breach these Terms or engage in abusive conduct toward staff. Either party may terminate a project before completion under the cancellation terms on the quotation; equipment already ordered may remain payable by the client.
If you cancel after a survey but before installation, survey fees stated on your quotation may still apply. If we cancel due to unsafe site conditions or repeated access failures not caused by us, deposits may be refunded minus reasonable costs already incurred. Completed installations are not eligible for cancellation refunds beyond warranty remedies.
11. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, government restrictions, supply-chain disruptions affecting specific camera models, or building access embargoes imposed by landlords or MCSTs without fault of either party. Timelines will be renegotiated in good faith when such events occur.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
Before commencing formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by written notice to the contact details below, allowing fourteen business days for response. This clause does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief where necessary.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued Website use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms for browsing purposes; active projects remain governed by the quotation and invoice terms accepted at engagement.
